The BEST salmon I’ve ever made! This recipe features perfectly seared salmon and steamed broccoli, made easily in a multifunctional pan. It's described as an Ina Garten-inspired Asian-style dish, perfect for a delicious and relatively quick meal.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Pour half the mixture over your salmon and set aside while you steam your broccoli. You can use a steamer basket in a pan for this. Heat the same pan over medium heat and spray with avocado oil. Once the pan is hot, place the salmon filets in flesh side down (skin side up) and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until the flesh easily flakes off with a fork, about 3-4 minutes. Pour additional sauce over top of the salmon and serve immediately with steamed broccoli, garnished with sesame seeds.
