One-Pot Protein-Packed Beef & White Cheddar Mac & Cheese
10 mins prepServes 4
This one-pot hack ups the protein (40+ grams per serving!) and fiber in a classic boxed mac & cheese, turning it into a complete meal you’ll feel good about feeding to the whole family. Plus, it's all made in one pot!
Heat a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as it browns, until cooked through. Drain any excess grease if needed.
Add the noodles and 2 cups bone broth. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the frozen peas. Cover again and continue to simmer for another 5–7 minutes, or until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Add the butter, cheese packet, and a splash of cream or milk. Stir really well until everything is creamy and combined.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
