Slow Cooker Honey Sriracha Chicken is a Sunday staple, a recipe that's been made for a long time and still hits hard. The author, after being away from their kitchen, is ready to share lots of good foods this week!
Place chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces, in your slow cooker and turn the heat to high. Whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), minced garlic, and lime juice. If you’re adding tapioca flour (to thicken the sauce), whisk it into 1/4 cup water first, then add this mixture to the sauce. Pour the combined sauce over the chicken and cook for 2-3 hours on high. This dish can also be prepared on the stovetop. For topping, combine 1/4 cup mayo, 1 tbsp sriracha, and 1/2 tsp sesame oil to make sriracha mayo. Top the cooked chicken with sriracha mayo, sesame seeds, and red chili flakes. Serve with steamed broccoli and brown rice.
